Vision organization model is not less innovative than the kind of projects and otucomes that Vision proposes. As opposed to traditional brick and mortars research centres, Vision has decided not to have a number of dedicated scholars. Vision “staff” do, in fact, work in different professional environment (media, universities, management, government) and live in different cities (mostly in London, Paris, Washington DC and major Italian ones) and bring to Vision the richness of their different point of view. They use Vision as a platform to put together expertises and develop joint projects 
Francesco is managing director of Vision and Value, the management consulting firm, advising strategies to major institutions (including the European Commission and Italian Ministry of Economy) and multinationals. He is also Director of the think tank Vision. His analyses have been quoted by international media like The Economist and he is currently columnist on Il Mattino. He has also written for all other major Italian newspapers including Il Sole 24 Ore, Il Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica.  
Annalisa has a degree in Science of Communication, with a specialization in Marketing and Enterprise’s Communication (with a thesis on the Politics of conciliation adopted by women to combine works and family), at “La Sapienza” University in Rome. She has covered the role of project manager for a plan of restyling of faculty’s brand and she has participated to several seminars on Public Communication and on the strategic and integrated enterprise’s Communication.  
Amelia graduated from Siena University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social and institutional communication. She has articulated her studies with experience abroad that, besides having been a moment of cultural exchange, it has been the opportunity to come into contact with one of the controversial European realities: Belgium. In fact, she has developed a draft analysis on the conflict between Flemish and Walloons and the consequential linguistic problem.  
Alessandro holds a BA in Public Administration and a MSc in economics from Bocconi University in Milan. During his studies, he developed a genuine passion for public policy and came in contact with diverse academic environments, such as the University of Economics in Prague, where he wrote on the convergence of Czech Republic towards the European Monetary Union, and the ITAM University in Mexico City, where he could study poverty reduction programs.  
Annalisa Piras has worked for 20 yeas as journalist in tv, radio, and press.
She lives abroad since she is 16 years old. After 6 years in France, where she worked at Euronews as special correspondent and responsible on European Union, now she lives in London.  
Pathologist and investigator (Med-04) at University of the Studies of Milan, Caterina coordinates a young group of research that takes care of molecular pathology and melanoma, of molecular mechanisms and their effects on the development of tumorali cells. Caterina is author of numerous scientific banns on international reviews and she is also interested of archaeology in particular of megaliti and the annexed cultures.  
Caterina has studied at University at Bari from which she obtained a Bachelor degree in Law. She enthusiastically started her apprenticeship in a lawyer’s office, specialized in Civil and Commercial Law; but very soon she realized that, it was not her future.  
Cinzia has a degree in Public, Politicalnd Social Communication at Bologna University (thesis in Corporate Social Reasponsability).  
Claire O’Brien is Research Fellow to the Human Rights Futures programme, directed by Francesca Klug OBE, and based at the London School of Economics’ Centre for the Study of Human Rights.  
Claudia has a degree in Sciences of the Public, Social and Political Communication at Bologna University (with a thesis on participation and communication’ strategies between the young people). She has collaborated with the press office of Kataweb and with the agency of national press Social Editor.
For various years she has taken care of civic information and social communication on reviews and website of Emilia Romagna.  
Deniz AKKAN is a PhD student on EU Policies at Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium and collaborates with Vision on European projects. She has an MA degree on Internal Policies of the EU at Université Libre de Bruxelles and a BA degree in International Relations at Galatasaray University, Istanbul ( the only francophone university in Turkey). She has focused her studies on the CAP, SME, Regional and R&D policies of the EU.  
Degree in Communication Sciences, Institutional and Business Communication, at the University of Perugia (with a thesis on language policy and election posters of Forza Italy from 1994 to 2006), Elena has just concluded the master "Change Management: Business and management of companies in development "to Luspio (Free University of St. Pius V) in Rome.  
Edoardo graduated in Economics and Commerce at Turin’s University and got the Master of Science in Finance at the London Business School in 1999.
He has worked in Reale Mutua of Turin and in Bain&Company Italia, where he has followed various plans in the field of Financial Institutions.  
Research Fellow at the LSE, Information Systems Group (Department of management). Interested in the study of the logic of irrationality and author of (among the others): 'Coordination Processes in Open Source Software Development: The Linux Case Study',  
Flavius holds degrees in political science from Columbia University, European politics and policy from New York University, and public management from SDA Bocconi School of Management. He worked on development, security and terrorism issues at the International Peace Academy, a New York-based international think-tank closely coordinated with the United Nations system.  
Born in Rome in 1971, Francesca has worked as a journalist for La Stampa since July 2000. Her professional interests are immigration, human rights, and women rights. She graduated in Modern Art in Rome with a thesis on German theatre.  
Francesca is currently a doctoral student in Sociology and Social Research at University of Salerno, where she is completing her thesis concerning with global institutions and ICT development policies.  
Marketing Communication Manager for Vision from 2002 to 2005, Fulvia is currently Benchmarking Professional for a Rome-based firm of The Economist Group. In a nutshell, she organizes, promotes and manages peer-to peer meetings with the aim to identify benchmarks and help participants to improve their business performances. Marketing & Corporate Communications degree, her first job was as Communication Assistant and Benchmarking Researcher for Sviluppo Italia.  
Francesco ha vissuto in Olanda, Gran Bretagna e Spagna.
Laureato in Giurisprudenza alla Sapienza di Roma con una tesi in Diritto Pubblico sulle Crisi di Governo, ha svolto praticantato presso uno Studio Associato di Roma per poi trasferirsi in Gran Bretagna dove ha fatto parte di Bisque Ltd (forefront of the design radiator revolution) - Zehnder Group, come Supply Management Coordinator, coordinando grazie alla sua versatilita' vari Dipartimenti: Export, Logistics, Comunicazioni e sviluppo nuovi prodotti (tra l'altro collaborando con Priestmangood).  
Gabriella Campi, attualmente Manging Director UBmatrix –Europe , societa’ leder nel XBRL space, nuovo standard di data exchange nell’ambito del business reporting (Basilea II) Precedentemente Director Sales – Southern Europe Middle East and Africa per MACROVISION Corp. A partire dal 2000 ricopre il ruolo di Vice President Public Services in ETNOTEAM.com e precedentemente in ORACLE come Direttore Sviluppo mercato EMEA lavora a Ginevra guidando con successo la costruzione di una nuova “business vision”  
Gabriela Palaveeva graduated in her Bachelor degree from the University of Sofia in Bulgarian Philology. At first, her academic interests were related to literature, linguistics and journalistic . As she has worked in an electronic media she encountered and explored topics and issues in the field of social policy, NGOs and public-private partnerships.  
Gerardo is a business lawyer specialized in legal issues related to technologies and innovation. He lives in Rome, but works between Milan, London, New York and Los Angeles.  
Gianluca is the director of strategic development at Muzinich & Co., Inc., in New York. He previously held the position of assistant portfolio manager and analyst. Muzinich is an investment company specializing in managing corporate credit. Before joining Muzinich, he was a research assistant at Yale University. He holds an M.A. In International Economics from Yale and a 'Laurea' in economics from Bocconi University in Milan. After Bocconi, in 1992 he moved to Brussels to work at the EU Commission, first as an Intern and then as a consultant. Only in 1996, he moved to Yale.  
Gergana is studying Economy at New Bulgarian University, Sofia, Bulgaria. The program is oriented towards developing specialists in the field of economics, business and management. She has participated in the project “Youth Energy”. The project was organized for participants from Romania, Malta, Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey, in order to prepare a future project in the field of energy efficiency within the Youth in Action Programme.  
Born and raised in California, Giovanni now lives and works in Italy. He received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in anthropology and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. His coursework focused mainly on socio-cultural and urban anthropology and international political economy. Giovanni’s senior research project, in political science, examined the rise and the effects of nationalism after the decline of European imperialist efforts. In the field of anthropology, he examined how urban spaces throughout the city of Los Angeles often create a social and cultural construction of identity for certain communities.  
Guido graduated, cum laude, in Economics at Turin’ University. Its job has been rewarded, in 1998, from Italgas, between the "Ideas for the Future", like better dissertation on thematic of Energy and Atmosphere. It has perfected its studies in Stanford, Boston and London to the LSE - London School of Economics, where he has been taken care of political integration of the UE.  
Ilaria graduated in public, political and social communication science at the University of Bologna. Her thesis focused on public communication and more specifically dealt with the “roles and functions within the Public Relations Office of the University of Bologna”. She gained further work experience via internships at the press agency of the Cultural Association “Rosaspina.  
Jacopo, thanks to its economic-legal preparation, today is, on behalf of Finmeccanica, Chief of Economic-Lawyer Transactions of the Association of the European Industries, in the field of the Aerospace and Defense (ASD).   
Joana is journalist for the Associated Press news agency in Lisbon and collaborates with Vision in projects of the Europe area. She has a degree in Journalism from the Catholic University of Portugal and a masters in International Journalism from the City University in London.  
Julia has a Bachelor's in Political Science from Université du Québec à Montréal (with a specialization in civil and political institutions and diversity management). She is currently completing a Master's in Urban Planning at McGill University in Montreal. She has mainly worked with non-profit organizations (International Centre for the Prevention of Crime, Centre for Research-Action on Race Relations)  
Keti worked at the American Council for International Education and the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science within the realm of national reforms, implemented at all higher education institutions in Georgia.. In 2004 Keti was awarded with the American Council’s Eurasia World of Difference Award for outstanding diplomatic skills, ingenuity and flexibility.  
Kyoko Sakuma is founder and Executive Director of Sustainability Analysis & Consulting (SA&C), which undertakes sustainability strategy analysis of companies for investment and asset management companies and provides advice on assessment of risk/opportunity of companies and projects that are of cross-cultural setting (www.sustain-analysis.com). Kyoko is a doctoral Research Fellow at Centre Emile Bernheim - Solvay Business School, Université Libre de Bruxelles.  
Kamilah Completed her PhD in Political Science from the London School of Economics (LSE) focusing on comparative electoral systems. She previously obtained an MRes in Political Research Methods and Public Policy (LSE), an MA in Political Economy (Essex University) as well as a BA in Politics and Economics (Yarmouk University).  
Leila Simona is part of Vision since its start-up, being a senior researcher on criminality and immigration issues. She was appointed as a lecturer in European politics in the department of European studies of the University of Bath in the year 2001.  
Leah is American and holds both an American High School Diploma and a French Baccalauréat Littéraire. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from La Sorbonne – Paris V. The following year she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship by the Italian and American Ministries of Foreign Affairs and chose to undertake a Master in Innovation Management at La Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Italy. She currently collaborates with both the Vision Think Tank and Vision and Value Management Consulting on a variety of projects both in Italy and abroad.  
Bachelor in Economics, Master in Business Administration, Luca is a Economics consultant and project manager in different national consulting agencies. His objective is to combine and deepen the knowledge of the environment meaning the market, trying to adequate what is seen to be abstract from reality achieving and pursuing a sustainable improvement (never forgetting that “if one believes in success it will come”.  
Luigi has graduated in Communications, social marketing and advertising at Rome University "La Sapienza", with a thesis on Microcredit entitled "Social business to fight poverty." In this work, starting from a general study on the Grameer Foundation case, which Muhammad Yunus carried out, he went through a series of "sustainable" hypothesis on how to bridge the gap named "digital divide", existing between Developed countries and those belonging to the Third World.  
Manuela is currently a doctoral student in “Institutional and Historical Fundaments of European Law at the University of Turin. She graduated in Law at the LUISS University in Rome with a dissertation upon European constitutional issues, analyzed within the multilevel constitutional theory.  
Marco is Vision research director. His main interests are about the interrelation between economics and environment, human development and theories of justice, the role of democracy.  
Consultant, currently she is about to graduate in Political Sciences at University of Roma 3. Her thesis focused on women rights as human rights. Recently she has collaborated whit the Department for Development and Cohesion Policies of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development as junior consultant in some projects around the subjects of local development, territorial marketing, research and competitiveness, information society, attracting foreign investments, energy, environment, governance of structural funds.  
Maria è laureata in Scienze e tecnologie della Comunicazione presso l’Università La Sapienza di Roma con una tesi sperimentale sulla comunicazione pubblica dei servizi CGIL. Attualmente frequenta l’ultimo anno del corso di laurea magistrale in “Comunicazione d’impresa e strategie organizzative” e si dedica con passione al progetto “Transeurope” che nasce con l’ambizione di raccontare la nuova Europa vista dagli occhi di studenti erasmus.  
Marco holds a Laurea in Architettura from University of Florence. Previously at ERVET S.p.A., the Emilia Romagna Region Development Agency, he has managed various projects in the fields of local development, information society and territorial governance.  
Mario is professor at Calabria University and at University “La Sapienza”, in Rome. He collaborates with the Advanced School of Public Administration, and with others numerous public and private Universities. He directs for Rubbettino Publisher the collections of “Public Communication” and “Intelligence and Communication”. He is also president of “Italia Domani” Foundation, on the formation of the leadership and the costs of the politics.  
Member of the Rome and Paris Bars, after having graduated at University of Rome la Sapienza (Laurea in Giurisprudenza) in 1997 and at the London School of Economics (General Course Degree) in 1995, she took an LL.M degree at Harvard Law School in 1999. She started her international career at the Centro Studi UNIDROIT, “The International Institute for the Unification of private Law” in 1997.  
Martina has been educated at Oxford University and the London School of Economics. She has a BA in History and French and an MSc in International Relations.

Matteo is a professional with years of experience in the field of Government capacity-building.
After a graduation in Pilosophy and Mathematical Logics he specialized in Public Administration Management Innovation and worked in main Italian consultancy firm and banking group. He supported the Italian Government during the Italian semester of the EU. Recently he consulted as free lance the two main programmes promoted by the Italian Government to innovate the public sector (awarded by OECD and the J.F.K. Schoool of Government).  
Massimo è un Ingegnere Gestionale laureato nel 2003 presso l’Università Federico II di Napoli, con tesi su “Gestione della innovazione e dei progetti”. Dottorato di ricerca in Finanza di Progetto presso LUISS con tesi su “Fondi infrastrutture e carbon finance”, è attualmente Visiting Researcher presso London School of Economics (LSE) dove svolge ricerca sul tema del “Carbon Finance e Fondi Infrastrutture” e partecipa a un “Progetto di valutazione di fondi strutturali EU nel Mezzogiorno”.  
Modupe worked at AfricaRecruit, a Diaspora think tank based in London as a Programme Manager responsible for Diaspora Investments. Her primary role included liasing with Banks and other financial institutions on how to develop financial products for the emerging Diaspora Investors. One of her main achievements includes developing and conducting the first ever survey of the Nigerian Stock Exchange brokers in 2004.  
Monika completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Maastricht where her studies focused on corporate strategy and crisis management. Within her bachelor programme she studied abroad at the LUISS University in Rome. Recently, she received a Master’s degree from the University of Maastricht where she deepened her knowledge and understanding of strategy and innovation. Her Master thesis dealt with contingency factors that influence a transition to effective standardized project management.  
Paul is a London-based thinker and strategist, working mostly on Europe and the Middle East and on questions of democracy, multi-level governance and social architecture.  
Paola is graduated in Sociology at Naples University, where she studies in particular cultural anthropology subjects. For the Provincial Administration of Caserta she has directed the Documentation Center for popular traditions. Now she works in Palermo, on the programming local welfare and evaluating social services (family houses for children, houses for women violence victims, plans with the immigrated women, etc).  
Natalia Leshchenko works as a political analyst for a forecast company Global Insight. She covers Russia and the former Soviet Union, and is interested in political regimes and ideologies, nationalism in particular.  
Rachel is graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelors in Italian and Political Science, within which she choose a study path focusing on European politics and development policy. As part of her degree, she took part in an Erasmus exchange programme in Udine and after graduating moved to Verona where she taught English for a year.  
With a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Milan and after 5 years working in North America, Rita is now an investigator at the Stem Cell Bank of the Center for Regenerative Diseases of Barcelona. Her research aims at identifying sources of stem cells alternative to those derived from embryos.  
Maria Rosaria NAVA received her Postgraduate degree with distinction in Languages for International Communication in 2006 and is currently reading for a Master of Arts degree in Cross-cultural Communication for International Business. Her university studies and internships have brought her closer to the world of business by deepening her interest in training and communication policies, especially in a multicultural sphere.  
Romeo is a young student with a background in humanistic subjects, which he tries to combine with his interests in economics, journalism and environment.  
Simona is Research Associate to the ESOC-Lab of the European Institute – London School of Economics. Here she acts as a coordinator of the research activities and tutor of the junior students. In 2002 she has been awarded the LSE Research Studentship to begin her PhD in political economy.  
Salvatore was born in Reggio Calabria, 1969, anc achieved a computer science degree and an MBA. He is a business consultant for marketing and interactive services at Enteprise Digital Architects, a company of the Vitrociset Group. His main professional interests are service innovation and business modeling in the Internet, Media & Telecom and Public Administration sectors. In particular, he is developing citizen communication and participation models based on “social media” approaches.  
Saverio holds a Law degree from Bari University (his final dissertation was on Free Competition in the European Union and the Discipline of State Aid), and he completed a master degree in Public Management from SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Physicist, researcher at the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica della Materia, now part of CNR. Graduated from the University of Rome, "La Sapienza", Ph. D. from Boston University. He worked for two years at ESPCI in Paris.  
Stephen is a consultant at with The Centre (Brussels) and Vision (Rome), managing projects for the European Commission and establishing projects of research and collaboration with thinking communities across Europe.  
Tommaso obtained an honours degree in Business Administration from Rome University, before becoming a manager in a consulting firm for thirteen years, first in the financial sector and then for central and local government. Since 1998, Tommaso has acted as strategy consultant and project manager in public administrations, implementing organizational innovation and new technologies, and conducting evaluations.  
Valentina graduated from Public and organizational communication at “la Sapienza” University in Rome. Her final thesis is on “Vocational training in Italy and Lazio, structural founds and FSE”.  
Valeria studied philosophy at the University of Pisa and at the Scuola Normale Superiore. After her degree she took a Masters in European Studies at the Research Center on European Integration of the University of Siena, spending one semester at the Institut des Haute Etudes Europèennes in Strasbourg.  
Graduated cum laude in Mass Communication at La Sapienza di Roma. She could go into her passion about the topic of information working on her thesis about the meaning of the transformation of traditional informative products, in the context of technological develop. In order to build up this work she had a practise experience at the scientific television news Leonardo, in Turin.  
Valeria graduated at the University of the studies of Naples L’Orientale in Comparative Studies, major in Japanese and English language and literature. Her thesis subject was the Japanese avant-garde theatre, focused on the works of Betsuyaku Minoru, one of the most original Japanese play writer of the ‘60s.  
Zhivka Nikolova has graduated from the Higher Institute of Chemical technology, Sofia, and has received a post-graduation specialization in International Law and Trading from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. She has participated in a broad range of seminars and workshops in Business, Regional Development, NGOs institutional building and European Issues.
