Mario Caligiuri
Mario is professor at Calabria University and at University “La Sapienza”, in Rome. He collaborates with the Advanced School of Public Administration, and with others numerous public and private Universities. He directs for Rubbettino Publisher the collections of “Public Communication” and “Intelligence and Communication”. He is also president of “Italia Domani” Foundation, on the formation of the leadership and the costs of the politics. He has published twenty essays with topics on the communication, the education and the intelligence. He is commentator of “QN”, in particular on the cost of politics. He is author of numerous essays on the history of Calabria, up to now sold in beyond 100.000 copies. When he was elect in 1985, he was considered the young mayor of Italy and one of the more shining administrators in Italy, because his Common – Soveria Manelli – became a laboratory of administrative innovation. His favourite readings are John Le Carrè and George Simenon. He is also fan of Altan, so he has organized an exposition dedicated to the book “Support Cipputi!”. In Vision he collaborates for all the initiatives regarding the project on Democracy and the costs of politics. |
