Modupe Akidele
Modupe worked at AfricaRecruit, a Diaspora think tank based in London as a Programme Manager responsible for Diaspora Investments. Her primary role included liasing with Banks and other financial institutions on how to develop financial products for the emerging Diaspora Investors. One of her main achievements includes developing and conducting the first ever survey of the Nigerian Stock Exchange brokers in 2004. Modupe has also represented AfricaRecruit as a speaker as well as an organiser and co-ordinator of different panel discussion on African related issues at both the Wharton School and Harvard Business School Africa Conferences. She is a keen networker and has extensive experience in business development and stakeholder management. She has lived quite extensively in 3 different continents and has a cosmopolitan perspective of building relationships. Modupe is a British/Nigerian and is very passionate about developing a business approach model to alleviating poverty in Africa. Her main hobbies include reading, sports and travelling. |
