Monika Stralek

Monika completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Maastricht where her studies focused on corporate strategy and crisis management. Within her bachelor programme she studied abroad at the LUISS University in Rome. Recently, she received a Master’s degree from the University of Maastricht where she deepened her knowledge and understanding of strategy and innovation. Her Master thesis dealt with contingency factors that influence a transition to effective standardized project management. The corresponding research was based on case studies for which she worked together with three international consulting agencies and two manufacturing companies. Monika gained further work experience at ITW Dynatec, Germany where she was part of the team developing the company’s new business strategy and pricing policy. In general, Monika is especially interested in the role of innovation within a strategic management context in the globalized economy. In her free time, Monika enjoys reading, dancing and travelling. She is also interested in philosophy and art. Among her favourite authors are Pascal Mercier, Goethe and Milan Kundera.
