Flavius Stan
Flavius holds degrees in political science from Columbia University, European politics and policy from New York University, and public management from SDA Bocconi School of Management. He worked on development, security and terrorism issues at the International Peace Academy, a New York-based international think-tank closely coordinated with the United Nations system. More recently, he acted as litigation case manager for a prestigious New York law firm, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where he supervised logistics for clients such as IBM, Qualcomm, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Bank of America.
Originally from Romania, Flavius developed expertise on the Eastern European transitions, European integration, non-democratic regimes, globalization, and the role of international organizations. He acted as Visiting Scholar at the Center for European Studies at New York University, and throughout the years he has been involved in humanitarian and reform initiatives in Romania. |
